Here are 4 different space-themed Valentines that are full of candy-free fun!

I’m using black cardstock as the base for all of these cards.

Sakura’s Gelly Roll Moonlight pens write beautifully on dark paper, so I’m using those on each card as well.

My world revolves around you!
1
I’m writing “my world revolves around you” on this first card.

Draw a planet in one corner by shading in a circle with two different colors.

Add stars with the yellow Gelly Roll Moonlight pen.

Cut apart a sheet of stickers without removing the plastic backing.

Use double-sided tape to adhere it to the card. The recipient can then use the sticker themselves.
You’re a star!

Cut a piece of black card stock into a large star shape.
2
Use an X-acto knife to cut a slit at the base of the top point, and a second slit towards the bottom of the star. (Remember the blade is very sharp, so only a grown-up should do this step.)
3
Write “you’re a star” and decorate with yellow stars and dots.
4
Slide the star onto the top of a space-themed pencil.
We could have a blast together!

Cut a heart from the black card stock.

Write “we could have a blast together” and decorate with stars.

Use double-sided tape to add a space-themed eraser to the bottom of the card.

Cut or punch a 3-inch circle from black cardstock.

Fold the circle in half gently. Try not to make a sharp crease if you can avoid it.

Cut a half-circle shape on the fold, slightly smaller than the bouncy ball.

Check to make sure the ball will fit in the center hole without falling through.
5
Remove the ball and draw rings one side of the circle.
6
Write “give me a ring sometime” on the other side of the circle.
