I’m always looking for new projects to keep my preschooler busy until his siblings get home. He had a lot of fun making this box house.
How to:
made with
1
Lay the two boxes on their ends, so the flap openings are facing each other.
2
Fold the top flap of each box upward to form the roof’s peak and tape.
3
Tape the flaps on the back where they overlap.
4
Tape the floor flaps where they overlap.
5
Leave the front flaps free, as a door.
6
Tape the small box to the top as a chimney.
7
Let your little one go crazy decorating it with crayons and markers. Slightly older children might enjoy cutting and pasting magazine images to furnish the interior.
8
You can cut windows if you’d like.
9
Encourage your buddy to cozy up inside with a pillow and some picture books.
