I love, love, LOVE Sakura’s metallic Pentouch markers. They come in silver, copper, and gold, with a variety of nib sizes. I like the slanted calligrapher nibs for fool-proof lettering.

This ink looks amazing on black cardstock. I buy the large packages of black cardstock from Walmart (by the printer paper). The ink won’t bleed through, so you can write on the back if you don’t like how your first design turned out.

If you want, you can sketch your design in pencil first. The paint-like ink will totally cover your pencil lines.
