For this project, I made a digital design on my computer first, creating the outlines of my image.

I then printed it on several sheets of patterned paper.

I used an X-acto knife to cut the pieces I wanted from each colored sheet.

I stamped the G using a vintage letterpress block, the adhered the paper cut to the card base.

I LOVE this swimmer card. It makes me realize that the possibilities are endless! However, I’m a little stumped on how you made a digital design on your computer first, creating the outlines of the image. Any chance you’ve done a little how to or video or even other samples? My nephew and two of his three sisters are swimmers and this would be great for us to make together if its not too difficult. I’m super new to your blog but adore what i see so far! Thanks in advance for any input you may have and thanks for sharing you extreme talents. You are a star!
